SENTINEL WARRANTY
National Warranty Company’s (NWC) Sentinel Warranty provides a comprehensive range of covered components and high levels of coverage to help protect against unexpected costs of repairing your vehicle in the event of mechanical failure. A range of plans are available for 1-5 year terms for all vehicle makes, models and age.

What is covered under warranty?
The Sentinel Warranty covers parts and labour for an unlimited number of repairs on covered components. Each claim is paid up to the component monetary limits to repair the vehicle to a condition consistent with its age, condition and kilometres travelled.* (See Brochure).

What plans and terms are available?
Four different plans are available depending on your vehicle prerequisite and the level of cover required (see Brochure). All plans are available for 12, 24, 36,and 60 month terms.

What happens if I need to claim?
If your vehicle breaks down, call NWC, prior to arranging any repair work to the vehicle. A member of the NWC Claims Team will promptly assess your claim and direct you to the nearest approved repairer anywhere in Australia. Authorised claims are then paid direct to the repairer – you won’t have to wait to be reimbursed therefore reducing your out-of-pocket expenses.
What servicing is required to maintain the warranty?
To maintain the warranty on your vehicle, regular servicing and maintenance needs to be carried out by a licensed mechanic in accordance with the Sentinel Warranty plan servicing requirements as outlined in the Warranty Terms and Conditions.

EXTENSION TO MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY
National Warranty Company’s (NWC) Extension to Manufacturer’s Warranty is a premium warranty designed to provide maximum protection against unexpected repair costs in the event of mechanical failure after your vehicle manufacturer warranty has expired. The Extension to Manufacturer’s Warranty is available for vehicles in or just outside the original manufacturer’s warranty and is available for terms of 1-4 years.

What is covered under warranty?
The Extension to Manufacturer’s Warranty is designed to provide a similar level of warranty cover as your vehicle’s manufacturer after your manufacturer’s warranty has expired. It covers parts and labour for the repair of mechanical and electrical items as listed in your vehicles Manufacturer Warranty book. Some exclusions do apply such as batteries, ball joints, suspension components, airbags, satellite navigation systems, entertainment systems, paintwork, 
panel or bodywork and their components made of glass, trim and decorative components.* There is no limit to the number of claims made per covered component. Each claim is paid up to the maximum monetary limit of your chosen plan to repair the vehicle to a condition consistent with the vehicles age, condition and kilometres travelled*
What vehicle servicing and maintenance is required to maintain my warranty?
To maintain the Extension to Manufacturer’s Warranty on your vehicle, regular servicing and maintenance needs to be carried out by a licensed mechanic in accordance with the Extension to Manufacturer’s Warranty servicing requirements. Please refer to the Warranty Terms and Conditions for full details.

A member of the NWC Claims Team will promptly assess your claim and direct you to the nearest approved repairer anywhere in Australia. Authorised claims are then paid direct to the repairer – you won’t have to wait to be reimbursed therefore reducing your out-of-pocket expenses.

What warranty periods are available?
All plans are available for the following periods: 
12 months / 30,000kms • 36 months / 90,000kms
24 months / 60,000kms • 48 months / 120,000kms
The warranty ceases at the end of the specified period or when the vehicle has travelled the specified number of kilometres, whichever occurs first.
Additional Benefits:
1. Emergency Breakdown Accommodation Assistance:
You will reimbursed $100 towards the cost of accommodation in the event your vehicle in the event your vehicle breaks down more than 100km from home. 
2. Emergency Breakdown Car Hire Assistance:
You will reimbursed up to $50 per day for a maximum of 7 days towards the cost of care hire in the event your vehicle breaks down.
Is the warranty transferable?
The Extension to Manufacturer’s Warranty plans are transferable to a new owner in the event you sell the car – providing added value to potential buyers.*
